Hi,

I also got the phone yesterday, also for BellMobility; they are useless if you call them, samsung tech is a bit better. However, I found if I download this (samsung pc studio) it allowed my computer to understand the device enough to use it as a CDMA modem. Since there is terrible literature included with the phone:

Also if you just go to the phone push menu 9 - 1 - 1 it brings you to connect to PC, plug in the USB you can share your videos/mps and the like onto the microSD card and also to the phone. Also you can remove your pictures and videos from the phone onto the computer.

Let me know if this helps

Google search for "samsung PC Studio"

Note that I had to break this link because this forum wanted people to post 10 posts before posting a URL.

If you connect it to your PC, then push "Menu - 9 - 1 - 1" It should say in PC mode

(Menu -> Tools -> Mass storage -> Connect to PC)

It should appear as a removable storage on XP/Vista systems

My Samsung alias also does not have a mass storage option under "Tools". Also, although I bought a USB cable and installed the samsung driver and it says the phone is connected, Query Modem fails.
