I want to add myfaves plan and use on motorola unlocked gsm phone?
or do i need a phone that come with myFaves compatiblebile?

You are supposed to need a my favs phone for the service, but as long as you activate the plan on a my favs phone, tmo isn't stopping people from then switching to a different phone.

If my bf has a T-mobile phone w/ my faves compatibility, and I've just purchased an unlocked Samsung SGH-D600, I could bring his phone up to activate the service and then just put it in my phone and it will work? I'm just really worried that it won't. Thanks!

I have always used a Moto PEBL which is not a myfavs phone. all I did was change my phone online (to a myfavs capable phone I didn't even have) sign up for the new plan, and then my next billing cycle I had MyFavs on my PEBL. Set up online at Mytobile and never activated myfavs yet they are billed as myfavs on my bill. yay!
