Hi,
I went to verizon today to buy my son a new phone. There are 3 phones under my contract. Mine, my husbands, and my sons. They had a good buy 1 get 1 free deal with new contract, so I wanted to get that one because I also wanted a new phone.
My son has only been under contract for a year so they said he was not eligible. BUT they said I could put the new phone under my husbands number TODAY and TOMORROW, I can go online and and switch the phones.put the new one under my son's number. They said I can do that online for free, or go into the verizon store and they could do it for me for $20.
Does anyone know how to do this online? I'd really appreciate the help!

try getting online verizonwireless.com or verizon wireless phones.com hope this helps

Have them switch it in store. Tell them to do it for free or you will not purchase a phone from them. The phone only has to be activated on the line that it is purchased on. does not have to be active for a whole day. Tell them to do it and don't pay any fees for it.
