Ok, so I've been trying to get my V188 to connect to the computer, to do the cool personilze, ring tone and picture stuff right? I can't buy Motorola Phone Tools since I have no money and I heard it sucks anyways. So I have downloaded 2 programs. MobilEdit and P2kman. MobilEdit is the only program that has recognized my phone plugged in, but even then it says there's an issue and needs the correct driver installed from the company homepage or where ever else. I've been searching long and hard for this driver to finally connect my phone. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try running the USB Driver program from www.motodev.com (you need to register)

Ok, I found a driver, and my phone now connects. Yay. MobilEdit recognizes, but P2kman doesn't. That's fine, I'll just use MobilEdit. I'm trying to create my own ringtone, I've downloaded Audacity, I made a 10 second clip, but I can't put it on my phone. What do I do now? I know, i'm sorry, i'm annoying with constant questions >.<

When you get everything working can you put up a complete list of the links and what you download to get it working? I'm having trouble with my V188 it freezes up all the time.

Actually I did get it working. Use MobilEdit, and then download the driver fromt he Motorola Website. Then it works. Like magic.
