I just got a nokia 6086 wifi phone from tmobile, I have a question with wifi phone call. If I don't sign up with their hot@home service and I have my own internet connection and phoe does pick up the wifi signal. Can I make free phone call or it will still count to my minutes even I am using the wifi function. Tmobile website doesn't metion it clearly, so that I thought I will ask here. thanks for the help.

1. You will always have great service at home via your wifi phone and wifi connections
2. You do NOT have unlimited calls from wife connections. You have to sign up via T-mobile to get unlimited minutes with Wifi connections.
According to T-mobileSignal's article "upcoming T-mobile phones & services" (Just google T-mobileSignal then its a sticky under General Discussion) the $9.99 price for unlimited Hotspot@home ends on September 12th, and goes up to $19.99 a month, so if you are considering it, jump on it quick and then you can decide later if you want to keep it or get rid of it. I hope I helped
