my battery isn't fully charged? See, I've never modded or flashed(or even tinkered) with my phone, a v3i. But one day I turned it on and it was a black screen. It has the bootloader info and sw version then it says "PHONE CODE SIG ERROR: Battery Low Cannot Program." So I assume I need to reflash my phone, but I need battery power according to the phone. Is there any way to over ride this? I know I need to press * # and the power button, I read the sticky, but is there any other combo to override this feature?

It might not matter because it seems that I am charging it.. I found out that if you put in the battery and put in the charger at the right time, it begins charging (the battery icon on the outside of the flip lights up)... then it goes to that black screen after about 10 minutes. The thing is though, I've been doing that for about 7 hours and it's still not fully charged. Does that mean it probably isn't doing anything? Does it need the flash to be in order to charge?

Please forgive my lack of knowledge about this subject. icon_smile.gif

Thanks!

I have a picture of what I get when I turn on the phone, but I guess since I'm a new user it won't let me.

You definitely shouldn't try and flash without full battery. You may have to use someone elses phone to get it charged. Or if you take it to a store and ask nicely sometimes they will charge it for you.

Flashing may fix it but if the eror just started for no apparent reason it may well indicate one of the chips has failed
