Hi,
I have a Samsung J600 and I have managed to completely block the phone from being used, it is now showing me a message "phone locked. return for service".
I have the unlocking code for the phone but it does not work maybe until I get past this phone locked stage.
Please can somebody help.
Thank you.
Marcus.

for unlocking and repairing this one there is only one solution to do it yourself.
it's called Samsung Remote Server, and is working with the orriginal samsung data-cable, this is the only solution in the world for these new highly secured MSL2 Samsung phones (eg J600, E210 U600 etc.)
you need to get an account and the client for SRS server, connect your phone powered on with your orriginal samsung cable to the computer. then start the client, login, and select J600, now press the big Direct Unlock button, and your phone is unlocked, and repaired.
for access to the SRS server you can take a look at http://www.UnlockSamsungOnline.nl/eng

so we would have to pay for this unlocking? ie buying creds to unlock it?
if the answer is yet then this forum has an rule of no personal gain! care to read the rules, i do belive that you own the program 123unlock. as your user name matchs the test password for the program that you are surgesting ppl to download!
if ppl dont have to pay to unlock your via buying creds, then please let the ppl know how this is done because i would really like to know!
has any 1 out there got a way to unlock a samsung sgh-j600. i have looked all over the net, and the programs ppl are comeing up with dont seem to work
y pay for an unlocking code when they are out there for free.
thanks

there is no free solution for this phone.
you only have a few options
1 buy an expensive unlock box (ust2pro EUB etc)
2 get code from your operator (around 50 to 100 euro)
3 unlock via the online server (14,99 euro)
4 go to an local unlock shop
you cannot unlock your phone with any free software, since the new type of security will not allow you to send the unlock command before it got the correct msl code

I have done it! Finally I have unlocked my Samsung J600 and can now use it on all networks! To do this I simply turned the phone on with the sim card in which the phone is locked to and entered the codes below one after the other in order. I then removed the sim card and turned the phone on with no sim in, when the "Insert Sim Card" message appeared I entered the codes again. SUCCESS!
During entereing the codes you may see various messages appear on screen, this is nothing to worry about!
Here are the codes:
#0111*36358688# (Resets network lock)
#0121*36358688# (Resets subnet lock)
#0133*58267441# (Resets SP lock)
#0141*00000000# (Resets sim lock)
#0149*19575795# (Resets sim lock phase 2)
#0151*00000000# (Resets auto lock)
#0199*19575795# (Resets phone freeze)
Hope this helps you guys like it's helped me!
Joel
Please not: Use these codes at your own risk.

WARNING: do not use the codes posted by joel on your phone.
these codes are read out over the Samsung Remote Server and are only for his phone, each phone have unique unlockcodes. same as each phone have unique Imei number
so to unlock your phone you have to read out the codes by the Samsung Client to get the correct codes for your phone
if you enter the above codes you get the message on the phone "phone locked return for service" this can also be fixed by the server at www.UnlockSamsungOnline.nl
therefore you need to enter the "unfreeze code"
