i have the black cingular razr but using a t mobile sim card.
there is a triangle on the top of the screen that is green or brown (sorry im color blind)
and next to the bars there is a blue or purple design with white in the middle. There are two diamond like shapes with a white thing in the middle what are they?

Its the roaming triangle, you can turn it off by SEEM edit
SEEM 0032_0001 offset 34 - bit 3: Display Roam Triangle Icon (1 on, 0 off)
Next one means GPRS available

No - its just that the phone doesn't know what your network plan is.
You can also do this edit:
SEEM 0032_0001 offset 4B - bit 6: Alpha Tag Display (1 from SIM, 0 from phone)
