Just ordered the promotional 1000 minute family plan Wednesday night (9-5-07). I applied for overnight shipping.

There is still no info on the order status page saying anything about when it will be shipped, the carrier, or anything.

How long does it usually take to receive the stuff, especially since I did the overnight shipping. I mean, isn't that what "overnight" shipping is all about?

Thank you

It normally takes 24-48hrs to process your order. After that, then it uses the overnight shipping. In my experience though, standard shipping is faster than the express option.

Appreciate the reply. I called a 1-800 number I found of theirs. Girl I talked to said they hadn't even begun to process my order, as of Saturday. That's roughly 96 hours! She also said that overnight shipping is SUPPOSED to be "OVERNIGHT," as in processed that day and shipped the next day at latest.

Thinking about using that 20 day period where I can cancel the service, if this is how "good" they AREN'T! I DESPISE a company that can't deliver what they offer and then are to lazy or stupid to notify me of any events that might cause a problem. They have my e-mail and home phone, so contacting me should not be an issue, especially for a communications type company!

If I don't see some info pop up on the order status page REAL early this morning (9-10-07), I most definitely will cancel this IMMEDIATELY! Not about to be stuck with some dip stick company that just thinks they can walk all over people for 2 years, when it's starting out this bad on day one.

You have to remember that this isn't amazon.com. A credit check needs to be run and an account set up before your phones can ship. Also, unless you order in the morning, the day you order doesn't count in processing time, and weekends also do not count. Its going to take longer to process an order for a cell phone than it is to just go buy something online.

They had 2 full days to do that, so I'm not counting ordering it on Wednesday night.

Anyway, called again today, now that warehouse and everything is open. Girl said the phones were out of stock, which I saw it was a full day AFTER I ordered them. She said it usually takes up to a week for them to come in and even answered the next obvious question about my OVERNIGHT shipping. Because I had to wait, they will ship it express at no charge.

Sounds fair. Already have had to wait this long now.

Just to finish this thread up with a follow up, I finally received the phones Friday the 14th. I'm a second shifter, so my wife was here when they came. She didn't do anything with them and the next day we were going camping out of town, to a place NO cell phone works in, which, sadly, T-Mobile didn't either. Had to wait until we came back home to play with phones. Village I live in, is just outside the range of Verizon to work at all, but T-Mobile is giving me a constant 3-5 bars, in the house even! Found out after calling support on how to use voice mail, that I'm in the roaming mode too., and still working that good. Also got the next day shipping cost removed, to boot. Which I better had anyway, but they did it before I even asked about it.

So far, so good.

Already MUCH happier with T-Mobile than I was with "Can't hear me, can ya!" Verizon!
