I just purchased the E715 from TMobile in California. I downloaded the Easy Studio from the German site of Samsung at www.samsung.de. I went to the setup in the EasyStudio PIMS & File Manager and changed the connection to Infrared.
When I connect my phone to the PC via the infrared the EasyStudio immediately starts reading the phone and files. However, midway through the process it hangs up when it gets to "Loading the MS's Organiser data...".
I'm wondering if there is a setting on the phone that I need to change in order for EasyStudio to have complete access to the phone and not hang up. I tried moving the phone further away from the PC's infrared port, but the same thing happened.
Any help with this would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
FredK

Dear friends,
I bought E700 last week and exploring the functions available with it. I installed easystudio 1.0.0.1. Now I can download the images to my computer via IrDA port but Can't upload it. The error is 'No Supporting Format'. I tried to upload the same file which I downloaded previously from phone (*.jpg). I got the same error. I dont know whats wrong. But at the same time I can upload the ringtones....Hammm strange things...
Also in the easystudio window the option of uploading image or melody is always deactivated. So I do it via file manager (import/export files)
I will be grateful If someone can help me in this matter....
thanks..

what version of easy gprs are you using? i am using version 2.1.6 with my e715 and have no problems whatsoever. i'm able to upload ringers, pictures and download pictures with ease.
e700 = easy studio
e715 = easy gprs ver 2.1.8
