Hello all. New to the forums here at mobiledia. I'm looking forward to the discussions and opinions here on this board. It's always enjoyable talking on the latest news and innovations on all things mobile. looking forward to hearing from you all. (apologies to the mods for not getting right to the post)
I have been a VZW customer for exactly one year now. Iwas formerly with alltel, then sprint. As far as me personally, I could not be happier with this company. To a person, the sales reps have been not only helpful, but courteous and friendly. The network has been fantastic,( I haven't dropped a single call in one year.and I know that defies belief, but true). But the thing that impresses me most,in my situation, is that the costomer service has been, literally, the best i've ever had, with anyone. I'm also a new VOYAGER owner, and am very impressed with the variety of devices VZW offers. Everyone, I realize, will not have similar experiences no matter who thier with, but as for me, VZW has been fantastic.
Thank you all.

VZW makes it pretty clear, unless you have reading comprehension issues:
-------------------------------------------
We'll Pay For Your Calls
Now you can test drive America's most reliable wireless network for 30 days. If you don't love us, you can take your number to someone else, and we'll pay for the calls you've made.
Here's how Test Drive works:
Only America's most reliable wireless network makes an offer like this.
Activate service on any Verizon Wireless Nationwide or Broadband Access Calling Plan, and Test Drive our network for up to 30 days.
If you're not convinced that Verizon Wireless has the best wireless network, you can port your number to another wireless carrier at anytime during those 30 days and the calls you made will be on us.
Please note that in order to take your number to another carrier, you must continue your service until your number is switched, so do not cancel your Verizon Wireless service before your number is active with a new service provider.
These are the charges that are, or are not, eligible for credit if you port your number to another wireless carrier within 30 days of activation:
Charges eligible for credit:
Activation fee
Monthly Access for your Nationwide Plan1
Per-Minute charges after exceeding Anytime Minute Allowance on voice plans2
Federal Universal Service Fund surcharge
Administrative Charge surcharge
Regulatory Charge surcharge
Gross receipts taxes surcharge
Early Termination Fee3
All applicable taxes associated with the above charges
Charges that will remain your responsibility:
Separately-billed data charges4
Supplemental services5
411 Connect®
Roaming charges
Separately-billed long distance charges6
Verizon Wireless surcharges7
If you port your number to another wireless carrier within 30 days of activation, it may take up to 60 days for all Test Drive credits to appear on your account. Any credit balance will be refunded to you within 4–6 weeks.
So now you don't have to take our word for it that we're the nation's most reliable wireless network. Take this Test Drive and see for yourself.

By any chance was this your first bill or a bill you received just after making a change to the account? It sounds like proration, but if it were a valid error and you brought it before VZW it should be fixed so long as it's caught within a reasonable period time. |
phffftt. I would never have a cel phone plan. Prefer prepay tmobile. pay ahead and don't have to deal with the b.s. plans.
Me? I got a call from one of the Verizon A-holes because I didn't want to be his wife's "friend" online anymore. since they screwed with my business. 8 days after major surgery for me, the jerk called me at 1:20 in the morning. oh, yea; said he worked for a "large company", was a businessman; ultimately, he told the truth (maybe) and said he was a freakin collector for verizon wireless. calling me from a verizon wireless phone, across state lines, at 1:20 am. guess I need to let his supervisors know what he's doing with his verizon phone?
