the text message raise was almost 1 year ago (went into effect Jan 21st of 07) and there was plenty of notice before it went into effect. at&t covered their butts with that.
9 months.a year, whatever. I'm still mad about this one. The only notice I got was one line buried into my 22 page bill. I didn't notice until it was too late to do anything about it. Come April 1 when my 2 year contract is up, I'm going to t-mobile where they have wifi phone service for better reception in my house, better rates, and cheaper text messages.
I'm so friggin' sick of getting dropped calls when I am in my house. In one conversation today with my wife, I had to call her back 3 times. The total of all the calls was 15 minutes.

kay, have fun. You'll come back, they usually do. It was actually on page 2/3 of your bill, and I dont see how it's at&t's fault you didnt read the bill in full.

Again, sorry to bring this back up again, but it's Q1 of 2008 and I haven't seen anything on ATT's website about prorated ETF's. Anyone know a for sure date yet about when this goes into effect? And anymore information about it?

doesnt seem like they've started the prorated ETF yet.our sytem shows it would start early 2008 and that more info would be released closer to the start date but no new info has came out. Q1 could be anywhere from january to the end of march.

I know it's late in the thread, but I would think that paying an ETF would be cheaper then moving to Cambodia. Wait, it hasn't been Cambodia in years, it changed to Kampuchea while I was still in grade school. (close to 20 years ago)

CSp just says q1.
That can be jan, Feb or March.
During this quarter, the proration will be announced.
and where did you "hear" this , because you never show ANY DOCUMETNED PROF, text , link , story , anything back up your claims for once
Kind Of Hard To Copy And Paste On A Cell Phone. Google It. That's What I Do. Edit By Iowa:-) So Just Go To Google And Type This In "FCC PRORATE ETF" It Will Pull Up Several Articles About All The Top Carriers ProRating ETF's And If You Look Hard Enough, You'll Stumble Across An Article That Shows The FCC To Pass The Bill But The Top Cell Phone Companies Are Lobbying Against It.
