I just recently purchased my phone from a friend. I went to set everything up and did a master reset. After activating the phone I went to send a text message but when I clicked "New Message" a black screen reading "Fatal Error" popped up. I can neither send nor receive and text messages. I can get calls fine. Im wondering if because I did a master reset, something needs to be adjusted on my settings.
If anyone knows what to do, please help.Thank you!

ive been doing some searching and for alot of problems the fix is deleting the itap_user_dictionary file, would this be a fix to my problem?

You could try it but I don't think so
I would be tempted to flash the phone - but I don't know CDMA models very well
