hello all!
tried connecting a V9m with my computer and sync it with motorola phone tools (4.56a). it doesn't recognize my phone.
looked for it in the Device Manager and i saw it's marked with the yellow question mark.
any thing to do? drivers i can download?
thanks!

I have a v9m (Sprint) and have been able to use it with MPT. Since I did not have a micro-USB cable - couldn't find one - I used the Bluetooth connection.
MPT is notoriously not so friendly using the modem/data connection with a cable. I would recommend trying to use Bluetooth from your PC. All of the V9m models are in the latest version of MPT.
If you don't have a Bluetooth adaptor on your PC, you can pick up a USB adaptor for less than $20.
Good luck.

when you right click the yellow question mark and go to properties.there should be something about installing the driver. i assume your phone tools came with a cd.you would just have it search the cd for the driver. haven't had much experience with it, but thats usually what a yellow question mark in device manager mean.

You might need to let MPT run its web update routine. When I first got the V3xx, it wouldn't connect to MPT until after I let it update itself.
