i have a question that may seem dumb but on all the forums ive been to not one person has addressed it. if i activate an account with tmobile with a phone capable of using the wifi @ home service (say the Blackberry 8320 Curve), i can opt to have a wifi modem put into my house for 9.99 a month. can i also use this modem to replace my isp? will there be any additional charges to use it this way?

you do not get a modem. You get a wifi router. A modem is what connects you to your ISP. A router connects to the modem to allow more than one connection in your house. You still need to have an ISP in order to get tmobile's wireless router to work. Without the ISP, all you can do is connect computers together, with no internet connection, and then @home is useless.

Unless the 6086 is a UMA phone, then the answer is no. You will have to check the specs at nokia-usa.com. Look for wifi first, and then UMA. You can also look at tmobile.com. They have a list of UMA phones.
