So I have the RAZR V3xx. Nifty phone. Of course, like most phones it has Bluetooth capablities. I have no problem sending pics, ringtones and whatnot between my phone and my boyfriend's, or my friend Laura's. They both have AT&T. I tried with my sister, who has Verizon. My phone will find hers, it will connect, but when I try to send something it just won't. I forget the error message, it varies from time to time. Just a sidenote, she has a Chocolate. I also have tried with my brother, who has a RAZR V3 with Verizon. No matter what I do, I can't get my phone to even FIND his. Is it a communication gap because of the different carriers? If so, is there a way around it. It's frustrating cause there are pics I want to share without having to use MMS.
Oh, also, my brother tried sending me a video via MMS. With my old Motorola V575 I could get videos from him. With this phone, I tried to open the message and my screen went black for a few seconds, then turned white, then came back on but I didn't have any service for about 10 seconds then my phone was back to normal. I tried it a second time, same result. Turned my phone off and on, tried again, same thing. I can get pictures in MMS from him but the video didn't work. Anyone heard of this problem?

verizon restricts bluetooth on many, if not all verizon phones to prevent people from transferring media. they do this so verizon customers will have to buy their ringtones/graphics, etc. from verizon.
the issue is with the verizon phones.

So if we go to the Verizon store, do they have to give him the operating systems, or could they just be dicks about it and refuse?
