Hi. I've searched the forum and can't find what i'm looking for so i'm going to plead for help.
Just got a V3x and thought it would be a good idea to update the phone via motorola's website. Now when the phone is turned on it says "Flex error: Phone subsidy locked". Also the music player refuses to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update. I've got the music player to load by turning the phone on and off a few times, now it seems to load every time. As far as the flex error is concerned, the keypad seems to be working so should i be worried by this message?
Also, i've tried hooking the phone up to my computer and transferring mp3 and video files across but it doesn't seem to be able to find the mp3's and says the video files are unrecognisable even though they are wmv.any thoughts?

From the sticky:
Open up P2K Manager and search for file "secure_pds_init."
Delete it.
Go to Settings -> Personalize -> Greeting & delete the "Flex Error: Phone Subsidy-Locked" message.
Finally restart the phone.

What's P2K manager? I've checked the glossary of terms and all that lists is P2Kcommander, P2Kmenueditor and P2Kman.Would it be P2Kman?
Also, where might i find it? Sorry if these are foolish questions but i'm new to the phone and, indeed, a phone i can hook up to the computer.

Lacking a response i downloaded p2kman and it did indeed turn out to be p2kmanager. However, it doesn't seem to be able to find the phone, it just says not connected. Is there something i'm missing?
