i have a z710i, i changed the lock code and stupid of me i forgot it.
is there any way to reset the phone or anything. i just want my phone to work again because i spent more than a WHOLE month just guessing passwords.
any solutions to a situation like this?
would appreciate all the help given

I'm not sure about other providers, but I know with AT&T if you forget your PIN number, when you put it in wrong too many times it will ask for a PUK (Pin Unlocking Key) code, which can be given to you by any customer care rep. If you have AT&T, try a couple of codes in quick succession until it asks for a PUK code and then call customer care. If you have another provider, try calling them to see if they have something similar, or if you're in the US the direct number for Sony Ericsson is (866) 766-9374, I'm sure they could help you out as well.

i didnt forget my PIN, my pin is fine i have no problem with that i still have it.
i changed the LOCK CODE for the entire phone and forgot what it was and i can not unlock my phone. its practically garbage to me now.
does any1 have a solution for this.
would appreciate any comments

I'd like to bump this because I've just found an old S700i in my closet and now facing the same problem. Surely there must be some reset function!

I think what you are talking about is a subsidy unlock code. There are certain cirteria you have to meet to get the code but if you call customer care they will walk you thru it and see if you qualify.
