my lg vx8100 is locked.
i'm afraid i know nothing about phones and need help to unlock it SOON!
i have no idea what my code is but i know it's not the last 4 numbers of my number or anything like 0000
so, im screwed

if it's not the last 4 of your telephone # then it has been chnged from the default. The only way to unlock is to take to vzw store & have phone flashed.

Actually they can hook the phone up to the computer and read the code. Then you can unlock it. Good luck.

One option is to try to dial *228 and send. If the call completes then you should use option 1. It will reset your lock code to the last four of your mobile number.
