Since I began reading all the forums, I've learned there are a few types of networks and frequencies available.
I live in a flat area of the US, South Florida. Which is the best network CDMA or GSM? Is EDGE technology beneficial?
Will a lower frequency or higher frequency be better?
Any info on this topic would be great, thanks.

to answer your question you need to answer others.
are you goung to be using the cel as a phone or a data device
the differences between CDMA and GSM are akin to comparing a ford to a chevy
EDGE is for data not for voice so if you are just using it to make calls and not to surf thats a moot point

Thanks for writing. Voice is my first priority.
I bought a Nokia N75 through ATT a few weeks ago and have noticed a huge improvement in reception over my Treo on a Sprint Network. Do you think it was the frequency change that made the difference?
Thanks again and Happy New Year!
