Hey everyone, hoping I get a reply to this topic.
I have a Nokia 6275i. It's less than a week old. I charge it fully then throughout the day will send and receive text messages, maybe 30-50 or so each day. I'll talk on it about 20 minutes or so, and then repeat the next day. Then around 24 hours since I charged it, or on day 2-3, it starts flashing saying battery low, and within 15 minutes, the phone has turned off that it's dead. I don't even get an hour of talk time out of it, or if anything that's all I get. I told my friend, he was just laughing and said welcome to nokia. But it says 210 I should get and it's awful. I tried turning the GPS off to see, but does this sound like a defect, or do I really have to charge it every 1-2 days with such little use? I have a palm treo that I use way more, and I charge it maybe once a week or so, so it just seems strange.

Turning on the GPS all the time will drain battery fast, I'd think. Nokia's battery is pretty good, comparable to other brands' batteries. However, perhaps I'm outdated in cellular info.
To conserve battery, turn off everything you don't need.
Treo has a bigger battery, yes? Hence, it can store more power.
Just a humble opinion.

I turned off GPS, charged it over night. Next day talked no more than 5 mins, and sent/received maybe 30 text messages. Left it on over night, next day (today) didn't talk on it, sent like 5 text messages, show battery is half full.
Treo does have a bigger battery, but it also has a much larger screen, and faster processor. I use bluetooth in it all the time too and nothing so I might try to see if I can get a new battery and check. Thanks.
