hey I just got recenlty for the new AT&T wireless i start training on nov 5 im a little scared to ask the managers and stuff because it's to early but when I go training its 1 hour away from me would they provide me with gas and pay for training or will they pay for a hotel and let me stay there and another question some people told me you get free phones, dsl, cabel, and a house phone is that true?

the only free benefit i've been told that you listed was the cell lines. even then it's only airtime minutes. it doesn't cover roaming/m2m/NW.all of those cost a little bit each. also.i don't know about the gas thing, there hasn't been any mention of gas reimbursment if you commute as far as i know. usually big companies do offer this so that would be a good question to ask icon_razz.gif i'm sure a hotel is out of the question.

If you live in the city where you work (or close to it) and the training is an hour away, they should pay your mileage to get there and back. If you would typically commute an hour anyway, then you would be on your own.
Managers receive concession (discounts) on their home phone and DSL packages, but nobody else at this time. Even that is new - they didn't get anything other than wireless discounts until very recently.
Good luck with the new job!

HA . HA HA . AAHHH HA HA HA HA HA AH HA HAHA HAH AH AHA HA AH you dont even get free lunch dont even waist your breath asking they might fire you on the spot, you knew how far you would have to drive when you applied for the job. i had to do 45 miles one way befor i moved closer to work, and that was in a truck that got 10 miles to the gallon

if you want the employee plan you have to buy your own phone (30% off FULL RETAIL) , and you will get a "special " plan to use

yeah i didnt want to ask i figure it might piss people off lol but the training is a hour a way 8-5 for 2 weeks and they got me working at a store wich is 20 min away from my apt but then when i asked them what if i moved and live with my mom wich is 2 hours away I asked could I get transfer to a new store there they told me what you got might work for that store your in but not other so no i was like ok -_- I get the training work for a bit then quit and apply there

and yeah I knew how far I would be able to travel for training I just figure they pay for everything because the recruiter lady said if there isn't a spot in the northern california spot were I was suppose to train at there is 4 location and that is sandeiago las vegas sacramento and arizona and they would fly me out everything paid for hotel food and everything.
