I have 4 cell phones on my service w/verizon.my son is giving me another one that was on verizon. I want to remove one of the phones and add the new one, but i want to keep all the numbers i have now. phones 1+2+3+4 -4 +5 = 1+2+3+5 put cell 4's # on cell 3 and put cell 3's # on cell 5. SO, where would i go on the net to do this? thank you, Dave

To swap devices between two accounts, first you should have both phone holders contact customer service. Authorize the release of the phones or the change to occur with the other account, and once permission is granted between the account-holders one of them needs to call in with the phones available for resetting/programming. It takes a few minutes and the devices will swap numbers as you request. Depending on who you contact there sometimes is a fee, but it isn't applied too frequently. Hope this helps

thank you for the reply. but i was told that it could all be done online, for free, rather than going to a verizon kiosk or even making contact with a person. but thanks just the same. Dave

True, and it can be done online, but only for one account at a time. So if it is done online then one account would have to activate an older phone to deactivate the one you want to move, then move the desired device to the other account after logging out and logging back in under the other account info, and then after swapping devices there the reverse goes to apply the old phone back. It's at vzw.com, select my phone, and select activate new/existing device. After that, choose existing device, and the ID to the phone is 11 digits of numbers on the back, 8 digits numbers and letters (no letters above "f"), or an A000000 followed by numbers/letters. Best of luck
