I am planning to go with Verizon when my contract ends in Nov. I am going with 3 phones on the family plan with 2100 min. and unlimeted text and IN.
Here is my question. Is there a way to keep track of how many "plan minutes" have been used on each phone? I would like to limit my kids to 500 "plan minutes" each month, Is there a way to do this?
Thanks in advance

Yes, your Verizon bill will have a break down of each line's usage. Also, during the month you can monitor each line in the My Account section of verizonwireless.com. In addition each line can monitor their own phone's usage by dialing #MIN, airtime free.
Now, if you want their phones to stop making calls when they hit 500 minutes, there's no way to do that but VZW gives you lots of tools to check your usage.

Does using the #MIN give you only the "plan minutes" used, and not include the "IN" minutes or the text minutes?
