AT&T signal coming and going - Still Alpha tag?

Hello, guyz,

We were experiencing the signal-coming-and-going-issue known as the alpha tag issue a while back on both lines and I wrote here about talking to a CSR who was VERY friendly and VERY helpful with attempting to solve the problem. Well, the problem is completely solved on my girlfriend's line, but it appears that I still have the problem on my line, although it's not as bad on my V3xx as it was on the iPhone (I just retired the iPhone and went back to my V3xx until the Razr2 V9 gets here Wednesday). Although I don't totally lose signal as I did on the iPhone, it's still swinging back and forth. Should I call Customer Service again or is there another option I should try? And should I address the alpha tag thing or something else? Thanx for any ideas.

While the iPhone is really cool, I just tired of several things about it that don't seem to have a solution in the works. I'm gonna hold on to it and see what the future holds for it. Can't wait for the V9 to arrive!

The AT&T alpha tag. Actually, both my phone and my girlfriend's phone show the AT&T. However, her phone isn't having the problem that mine is. I must that it's not near the problem now with the V3xx that it was while I was using the iPhone. I still see the fluctuation, but it doesn't drop the call like the iPhone did. I attribute that to the V3xx simply having a better radio.

My V9 arrives today and I'm gonna see how it acts with the new SIM card. I'll report back late tonight on that.

Got the V9 Wednesday afternoon. The coming and going of the signal is still going on. But it seems to be happening only at my house and at our shop, both of which are a good ways from the metro areas of my locale. And again, my girlfriend's line is fine.

V9 is REALLY nice. Radio seems to be outstanding, my issue aside.
