Hi all,
some how i posted this as a response to someone else's question. I think i am good to go now.
i have set my new wing up to receive e-mail from work. i travel to different countries, and when i get an e-mail that the company wants me to view they call me and i download it. the problem i have is that with the phone turned on and none of the programs running, my wing automatically establishes a "data link". Here in the States i have unlimited, but when i travel, most times, it is a roaming charge.
How can i stop the phone from establishing a "Data Link" when i don't want it to?

I would assume that there is an option to disable data roaming, but not sure where it would be. Ill see what I can come up with a make another post.

right now i am testing a work around. i have blanked out the "access point" entry in the data link setup.
i get an error that it can not connect. then i just close the error msg. when i want it to connect i "edit" the data link and put the access name back in and the data link connects.
i would like to find the "on/ off" switch for it. this would keep the phone from trying all the time, and me having to config the settings all the time.
thanks, mpapple10 for your help.

Hi Guys,
it's been 4 days now. am i the only one this has happened to? i would have picked a Blackberry, but the "graffiti" feature helps me take notes without a pen and paper.
