The phone is quite dead, I flashed it with its original software, but before i flashed it you plugged it, it won't charge, push the power button but the screen stayed dark and only the keyboard lighted for a minute and when in flash mode the screen is blank (lights on, but does not display anything).
Happens the same after flashing.

Same problem, almost exactly
v3xx - about 9 months old. Only mods were some seem edits to (among other things) turn on IMAP access, but I would be surprised if that's the issue. It seems to be happening to anybody.
Battery and sim in, wall charger - nothing, flash mode (*#ON) doesn't work
Battery not sim in, wall charger - nothing, no flash mode
No battery, no sim, wall charger - nothing, same
Battery and sim in, USB to comp - power, little red light works. Nothing else
Battery, no sim in, USB to comp - power, little red light, nothing else
NO battery, no sim, usb - nothing, no flash, nothing
Stumped. I assume to even attempt a reflash, I'd need to get to bootloader. and that isn't working
Never been really mean to this phone - dropped it a couple of times, but 1-2 months ago was the latest. It was working fine until this morning - I went to turn it on and thought the battery was dead.
NOTE! It had been a little flaky before this - I assumed it was related to the SEEM edits. Things like you'd open it up and the screen wouldn't light, but you'd go to turn it on and it would turn on in a strange way, from which you could turn off and on and have it work. Once or twice wireless data stopped working too. red herring or not?
I'd appreciate a solution, but it looks like it may just be dead. Thankfully, have all my contacts on SIM.

If you still can but it in flash mode then choose the right MP to flash it ot use Motorola update to get latest MP in to it to revive it but if you can not get it in flash mode then there is nothing you can do at this point. Eventually some one will come up with the way to revive it but not now, not yet!
