I have a Razr v3 that I no longer use. My husband is going sailing in the Caribbean for 3 weeks and I'd like to give him the phone to use. Can I get a SIM card that will enable the phone to be used without having to sign up for a specific plan? I went to AT&T (my current carrier) but they seemed interested only in selling me a plan. Can you help me?

If you want just a prepaid SIM that will work in the caribbean, make sure that the phone is unlocked (can get the subsidy unlock code from AT&T, shouldn't be a problem, if it's an AT&T phone) and then have your husband get a prepaid SIM from a local provider in the Caribbean.
