My wifes Motorola razr just died the other day and will not turn on. When the red button is pressed the keypad lights up for a second, then 'blinks' and turns off. I tried to hold down the # * and red button and did get it to the 'flash' area with the following info:

Boot Loader
08.23
SW Version:
R374_G_0E.40.9
CR

Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

What do I do and how do I fix this? I see the forums about re flashing but I have no idea how to do it or get the proper cables to do so. (will a camera - USB cable work?)

Thanks for help in advance

I am no expert, but I can tell you that if your camera USB cable is the same as your phone charger cord then it will work.
There is a program called FlashBackUp 2.26 used to Flash your phone, and Back it up FIRST. Try and find Old_Fool on here he is great on telling you what else to do,,ok?

I have all the files and am ready to flash the phone; however, when I plug my phone into the computer it trys to install the software for s flash neptune lte . I can't install it and if I bypass it the Multi Flash Felx program will not recognize the device (it does not show up).

Do you mean drivers? there are about 6 drives that need to be install be for you can flash the fone . Try again and if PC asking for driver again then use advance option to point it to your PSF folder, all drivers are in there
Good luck

I just bought it two days ago and I can't believe this just happened.

I am also extremely bad with technicalities so if you explain this to a total idiot, that would be me, and i would be appreciative.

I held down Power # * and the white screen flashed, then it displayed

Boot Loader
0.6.8.2
SW Version;
R25227LD_U_86.
31.34P

I was able to find a way to connect to my computer, but I don't know what to install or how to back up. Please help!

HELP! My daughter has had her razr V3 about 6 months or so & this past weekend it just died ! I can't get it to do anything. The keypad light will come on for a sec & thats it. The phone was used when she bought it & I was hoping that we could fix it before she spends more money.

I do notice that after the keypad lights up it had letters & numbers on the screen buts its so dark you can't make out what it says.

PLEASE HELP ME!
