Hi
I was wondering if someone could help. I've had a 6100 for a few months but have to charge it every few days (as apposed to once a week with my 8310), the battery seems to go really quickly, and its the only phone I've ever had where the battery can be just one bar down before I turn it off and when I turn it back on in the morning its half empty???, I've never seen a phone that looses power when its off. Anyway, I was just wondering if this is normal or if I have a defective one. Any info is appreciated
thanks

The battery bars can be deceptive
Anyways, how long does the phone battery last??
About 3 days is still fine with normal usage.
And, have u followed the initial complete charge discharge cycle, i.e charge the phone for about 7-8 hours the first time wen u use it, then wait till its completely discharged, then charge and discharge again, atleast for the first 3-4 cycles.
Well, about the phone losing power wen its off, i haven't come across that before. So u can check that up with the nokia people, and ask for a battery replacement if necessary.

Am I the only one who never does that charge-discharge-cycle and has no problems?
Sounds like a bad battery, because normally the battery get a bit power back (e.g. you turn it off with 2 bars and turn it on and it has 3 bars and that holds for a few hours).

You are not the one!!! I never done this cycle too. It seems that it's a bad one as you said it. If the garanty is ok, Nokia will normaly replace it

Goto a Nokia Service Centre in your locality. Tell them about the problem, and ask for a new battery.
