all right folks here it is, the full an easy way to put mp3's in normal bitrate form on your Voyager. thanks to krayon for everything he provided, without using any software but the vcast music manager, find the mp3's you want to put on your phone, copy them and paste them into another folder, then just rename them to ringtonesname.mp3 and then put it in music manager and put it on your phone, and voila all done. so here's an example
ringtonesangelopeningtheme.mp3
Enjoy

I've tried renaming the file as instructed and loading it into my vcast music, and it works; however, the ringtones aren't permanent. I accidentally turned off my phone, and when I turned it back on, the ringtones were gone. They were still in my vcast music, but I was no longer able to set them as ringtones. Am I doing something wrong?

nope not doing anything wrong, i just noticed this as well. it seems if you already set them as a ringtone, and then turn off the phone and back on, they stay as set ringtones as long as you dont mess with them again. so it seems its back to the old way if you want them to stay in the ringtones folder. :/

What's the old way to make them stay in the ringtone's folder? Is there a way to keep them on even if the I turn the phone off?
