I just got the voyager weds, and i was talking about using mp3's as ringtones for all my friends/family, and the rep said that it was impossible to use mp3's as a ringtone. is this true? or are they just not telling people how it can be done? please help.
Thanks

Keep searching google for outside software for editting and creating your tones, and the software to transfer it to the right directory on the phone. I'm sure it will be out soon enough and VZW won't be able to keep up with ensuring all the holes are patched.

all right check this out download the ringtone studio 2 on torrent (isohunt) use that program make your cuts and selections there. then you save the selection as ( there is a save as button that let says save selection as) dont erase the .mp3 just add the name before the selection( you must start the name as "ringtones" exp. ringtonesnoone.mp3 then just import or drag the file from computer into v cast music manager and sync it. then just go to your ringtones on your phone it should be there.
