My roommate was going to get me a Razr 2 v8 unlocked for my birthday. She is getting it from Motorola, we have cell one but they become at&t by the end of the year. Will it work with cell one or at&t?

I have a V9, so I'm not privy to the details of the V8 (vroom, vroom, ooh, I'm sorry), but generally, if it takes a SIM card (and I'm assuming that Cell One is/was a GSM provider), then yes, it should work. Naturally, you'll have to gather yer own network settings for MMS, internet, and other data from the AT&T website and hope that something similar, such as the V9's settings, will work.
