Will this phone connect to my Toshiba laptop BT adapter? I have the latest Toshiba BT stack and USB adapter that works with other devices. For some reason it won't connect to this phone.

Well, I have an SGH-A436 and it's the same thing. The phone only uses bluetooth for headsets and handsfree car kits, but i'm thinking this is a restriction placed by the providers. In your case AT&T and in my case, Rogers. There should be an option to add new Bluetooth profiles, but there isn't.
The easy answer to your question is that as it stands, you can't.

I will contact AT&T and check on it. I suspect they don't want uploading or downloading made easy so that one has to pay extra for the Multi-media or Web features.
Do you know if the cable that is available for connection to a USB port allows downloading of pics from the camera?

Hi, Im sure you have already got the answer to your question, but you can buy a cable at Best Buy that will allow transfering of files from your phone to your computer. You will need samsung tools to do it

It may be that the computer and the phone's bluetooth are not compatible. If your computer has bluetooth that is designed for data transmission and your phone is only designed for voice transmission, they're not compatible. I would look up the specs of what you're trying to sync with your computer and make sure that it is compatible with the type of bluetooth your phone is using.
