Not to be a complete noob but it's 2 am and I've been trying this for a few hours and I've tried to read the tutorials but I phail.
Humour me plz.
So I finally got Motorola Phone Tools working for my Krazr W385 and I got some songs, all cut under 30 seconds, transferred on to my phone.
However, they do not appear under the Ringer ID, only the default terrible ones are there.
The song clips are on my phone and I can play them if I go to Media Gallery but my question is how, if at all, can I set a certain ringtone to a person?
I will eternally love you if you can solve this problem by pointing out how easy it is and how big of a tool I am for not putting enough effort in to searching these forums.

Ringer IDs are typically set in the contact name's entry. I say "typically" because I'm not familiar with that phone. If it's at all similar to a Razr, go to the address book, select the contact you wish to apply the ringtone to, select "Edit" and scroll down the list. "Ringer ID" should be down the list somewhere.

Yeah I knew that, the songs I put on my phone don't show up in the Ringer ID list. They only show up in the Media Gallery.
Thanks though.
