Someone gave me their old V3 RAZR because the screens weren't working and keypad was a bit messy too. so i buy replacements for the screen and keypad flex cable. i install them fine but i still don't see anything on the inner lcd but can see a faded image on the outer screen. The keypad works fine and i can still makes calls but i would like to see what i am doing, thanks.

i've worked on a ton of V3s, and i'd say, if you replaced both the flex and lcd with new, good parts, the original problem must have been caused by liquid, and probably shorted somthing in the mainboard. one thing you can try is cleaning the contact where the flex connects to the board. use a soft, brass bristle brush. if there is corrosion or anything there, it will cause shorts and keep things from working correctly. other than that, look for another board since the other 60% of your phone is new.
