Why does Cingular/ATT screw over their old long time customers? I am an old Blue ATT customer from way back, and when I try and upgrade my phone, they want me on an entirely new plan which puts more restrictions on me than I have now and they cant give me any deals on phones. Are Go Phones locked when you buy them or could I swap my SIM card with my old phone and put it in the new Go Phone and have it work?

Thanks
J

I give up. Why?

Yes, you can buy a GoPhone and put your SIM card in it.

That’s because att wireless NO LONGER EXISTS it hasn’t for over 2 years, you have a plan and a phone for a company that was BOUGHT OUT , as a COURTISY cingular, now att ( NOTHING TO DO WITH ATTWS) let you keep that old plan and equipment.

They could have at least made it easier for us to switch plans. Now they just screw us over even though ATT is still ATT

One person's screwing is another person's upgrading. Go figure.

Now go get that GoPhone.

ONCE AGAIN the new At&t has NOTHING to do with the old ATTWS it was two totaly different companies that has nothing to do with eachother, like Wal-Maer and Target, nothing to do with each other, so complaining that you have to get a new plan when you have been more than accomidated with keeping your old plan for as long as you have, is just childish. GROW UP , be an ADULT and quit crying

So if they rent services from ATT that means I should be able to use ATT and T Mobile service any where I go. Why would I stay with ATT if I can get the same coverage from ATT anyway?
