Ok so I have a quick question. Lets say I wanted to upgrade to another phone. By upgrading, do I have to keep my old plan or can I change it as well?

Usually yes, but there are a few plans where you could run into an issue. Which plan do you have?

currently I have the 600 minute my faves plan and I wanted to change it to the 1500 individual plan with the sidekick data plan. Obviously I want to get a sidekick.
EDIT: When you said yes, did you mean yes I could change my plan or yes I had to keep my plan?
Lets say I do have to keep my plan. is it possible for me to just add the sidekick data plan along with my old one?

You could do that without a problem. I was checking the plan because if you were on certain promo plans that are no longer avaliable, you may not have been able to stay on that plan and upgrade. You will not have that problem.
