I am in love with this phone. What happened to the Samsung SGH-d807 slider phone? Everywhere I look, it has been discontinued in both black and white. If anyone knows how to get ahold of this phone either locked or unlocked, I would interested. Thank you.

dude I used to love that phone
So my parents bought it for me for christmas
I thought it was the coolest phone ever
I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG
THE PHONE WAS A TOTAL PEICE OF CRAP!
1.THE CAMERA SUCKED INDOORS ONLY WORKS GOOD OUTDOORS!
2. RINGTONES MUST BE UNDER 600kb
3. TERRIBLE AND I MEAN TERRIBLE VIDEO QUALITY!
4. Very restrictive!
5. The screen scratches like h e double hockey sticks!
6. TERRIBLE SIGNAL!
(and I live less than a block from a cingular tower!)
7. Sometimes the mic never wanted to work!
8. very annoying computer editing software
(as in adding ringtones to it)
9. It would reset itself if it could not send a text message
10. Text messages did not make it to my friends till like 1-3 hours later!, if the phone was in a good mood it would send them in less than 10 mintues.
I thought the d807 was the phone of my dreams, i thought it was the one, I thought Id have it for a long time!
4 months later after reciving it, I raised money and bought myself a different phone, I got a Motorola Z3 RIZR, the camera is astonishing! 8x zoom!, it has flash!, it supports mp4 videos!, the video quality is astonishingly good for a motorola phone, never have had a dropped call, and I bought it in April, text messages make it in a flash, it has airplane mode just incase I want to listen to my music while on a flight, has its own media player, but soon I will have to retire it because,
I want a sidekick really bad, altough my rizr is going to be my personal camera! lol its camera qulaity is too good to be true
off topic! lol
anyways DO NOT GET THE SAMSUNG D807! its no good!

It got disconntinued because it wasn't selling so good. (I own and still use this phone).
Thankfully, the new A737 (in four colors) is a hot seller so maybe Samsung will release more slider phones for ATT in the future.
