Hi guys,
new sony ericsson T300 user here. I'm not a phone guru so here goes:
I was wondering if the images that the commicam captures on the T300 can be set to a better colour quality? It seems the pictures i take are like 6 colours only, but when i send it to my pda it looks better, almost like a webcam image quality -- still not great, but it has more than 6 colours atleast.

Communicam takes photos in 16,7 mln colors, however T300 screen is able to display only 256 colors, so you see only that much. With this 6 colors, it's normal, my friend says he see the same number =)

If you want that the images on your phone screen look better, try adjusting the contrast from the settings menu.

go in the camera menu press *##* change the colours it should be 13 try to make it more
press *#*# to check your camera sw version
tell me if it works

Hello Youssef, I saw what you wrote about *##*.I have a T 310.Will this work for me ? But please tell me what you meant by 'go into menu'?

Yes, it works in the case of the T310 also. The camera menu is the menu you enter after going to the main menu-->Fun & Games-->Communicam.
