Hi, I was hoping someone might be able to give me a clue to whats going on with my new Nokia N73. I'm having a problem with it suddenly and continuously going offline and losing the network connection. When I go into settings to try and get it to reconnect to the network the options for Network Settings aren't there. If I switch the phone off and on, most of the time it will reconnect again, but it will fall off again in as little as 10 minutes (although sometimes it will last a few hours before losing the network again). I went to my service providers webpage and had all the WAP/MMS/SMS settings sent to my phone and I am pretty sure I have them all activated correctly
A few details that might help.
Phone - Nokia N73
Service Provider - Telstra Pre-Paid
I'm beginning to think that maybe its a problem with the phone and it needs to be returned to the store.
If anyone has any ideas or advice on what's happening or what to do I'd really apprecate it
Many thanks in advance

Hello,
Please be aware that there is an "Offline" profile to switch off all radio communications on the phone. However, you need to specifically choose the profile to use it. Your phone should not automatically switch to the Offline profile.
If you're out of ideas, bring it back to the store. Good luck.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Thats what I'm finding so strange - I'm not changing the profile at all and I've never activated the offline profile. I've read about people having issues after activating the offline profile but having never changed the active profile that shouldn't be whats happening.
I was offline every 10 minutes today. and several times rebooting the phone didn't fix the problem and it fired back up as offline. I think it has issues and will have to be returned to the store.

you should refresh your network GPRS/WAP settings and correctley install your modem driver for N73 . I reccomend that you should connect your phone via usb cable. some networks require commands in the advance tab of modem driver in device manager.
