now don't believe a word of this you would have called the same number or numbers many of times to be charged that much. i am an att rep and i have filed adjust paperwork for 2-15 thousand dollars that were credited back to customer accounts. But att was resp for paying the ld charges to the int ld carrier. I have seen also where thousands of dollars were credited to cust account for data usage.

How is this ATTs fault?
If you made the calls, and knowingly, it would be $1200 phone bill - if "by accident" then you might have had just a few dollars. Please don't lie because you were too dumb to read your contract.

sounds like some irresponsible parent bought the child a cell phone and a lot of internets was used so obviously it not their fault it at&t's fault

Hey TheManator, are you a AT&T/Cingular rep? Because if you are, why are you wondering why people are bashing the company with your type of attitude.
Let's see if you have somewhat of an intelligent answer for this:
I was getting charged for Internet downloading for months and most of the times that were POSTED on my bill where 2am, at 2am I'm sleeping. I call and get "DUH, I don't know", maybe that was you I was talking to.

WOW and with an attitude like that im actually shocked that customers aresurprised they get condescending responses from customer service reps.
You know respect isn’t something you deserve as a customer , its something you earn, by treating the people who are there to help you with the same respect you want to be treated with
