i bought an I Phone on Craigslist and they had tried to unlock it and i think they failed. im very new to Iphones , there firmwares and so fourth so not too sure what to do? I am an ATaT customer and have no use for a unlocked iphone anyway. i need to unbrick this. i think something is up with the Imie or something like that. anyone know what to do. Itunes gives me a message saying your phone may be damaged and bring it to apple, but they wont let me return it since its been hacked. help

Link it up to iTunes and do a restore on it, that usually solves this problem, please not that you will loose everything on the phone so backing up photos etc is advised!
