After watching this past NCAA football season, I am all for eliminating the BSC college football ranking system and moving toward some type of tournament/playoff system. Why? the same reason why everyone else does! Its unfair, and in my opinion VERY bias. There are too many mitch match bowls, and too many teams that have been shafted from being ranked. If anything I think there should be maybe a points ranking system up until regular season ends (Current BCS point system) Then the top 12 teams should battle it out through a playoff. I also think that ranking a team by potential at the beginning of a season before any games are played is also stupid. Just because your team has good players doesn't always mean that they can execute and compete well. Just wanted to bring this to light in my disappointment with this years season. what are your thoughts?

Sure, top 12 teams go, top 4 with first round byes, the cheesy bowls get the first 2 games, and so on and so forth, last game being the Rose Bowl which would be for the National Championship. The bowls are sort of preserved, the playoffs take 3 weeks so it's not as if you're going that deep into winter.

No matter how much i hate the BCS i think a playoff would be just as messy, difficult and corrupt.

Corrupt it would not be, but choosing the top 12 could be messy sometimes. Why is it that people don't question the NCAA basketball tournament all that much?

thats what they said about the BCS that it would be FAIR and impatial.
the reason to the basketball is that it starts with like 72 teams or 36 i dunno im not a big fan of B-ball, and its not as much as a physical sport as foot ball, not full contact , less injuries .
