Hello all,

I found this site through a yahoo search because my phone stopped working. For some time, when I would unplug it from the charger, the phone still says it's charging. It would not make the little tone it usually makes and the phone would think it is still plugged in. Usually, I just turn it off and on and it is fine. Yesterday, it happened again, I turned it off and now it won't come back on. When I press the power, the keypad lights up and that is it. The screen stays black. I have to take the battery off to turn it off.

I have been reading posts all over the net trying to get this thing in some kind of boot up mode, any sign of life would be encouraging. I really don't care about reviving the phone as much as I care about what is on the phone that I feel is lost. Unfortunately, I apparently did not save my phone book to the sim card and I fear that all my numbers are lost. Does anyone know if there is any way to revive this thing so I can recover my phone book. I tried plugging into my computer with the usb, I get a pop up that says new hardware found "s flash neptune" and then it asks for drivers, that is as close as I can get to any response from the phone. Please, is there anyway that this can be saved or am I out of luck? Thanks in advance for any help!
