I had a girlfriend who was drunk in class once, but I didn't skip too often.

it was funny. the days i was sick they thought i was skipping and the days I was skipping they thought i was sick. I skipped a lot more often than when i was actually sick.

I got tired of school by the time I hit high school, so I coasted through. Couldn't afford to miss time, because I knew I wouldn't get around to making it up.

i still graduated too but in a private adult education school. 2 yrs later. it was actually fun! there was like 10 people in my classes. classes were only once a week the rest was self study and we all had been assigned study groups / rooms and we got a grant to finish and enough $$ for living expenses and we didn't have to pay it back. if we passed.

Sounds like a decent set up. Get a diploma with that then?

That and I think a diploma is a better example for your kids then a GED.
