I recently dropped my Nokia 5300 and its not doing that well. I am forced to buy another phone but they are all too expensive. I saw a Tmobile ToGo phone at Walmart for I think 30-40 dollars and it was the 79 dollar nokia in the Tmobile store that I wanted. I was wondering if I could buy the togo phone and use it with my regular service. My friend uses cingular (i think?) and she only buys to go phones and uses regular service. So could i just slip my SIM card in and use it or is there a special lock on it?

Quick answer: Yes.
Longer answer: Yes, you can put your sim in there and no, there is not lock on it with other Tmo sims.

Or you can do even better and buy some good unlocked phone instead of limiting yourself to what T-Mobile offers.
