i have a razor, no idea what kind one of the new ones it's silver.

but basically i have itap english and i want to know how to add words like hey, and yeah and yes. when i type yes. it gives me yesterday as a *predicted* word. shure if i hit space, it cuts off the terday and leaves the yes. but i want to make it so it ONLY guesses yes, kind of like T9, which im used to.

but also, what if i want to add someone's name, or a new word or something. how do i get Itap to learn the word.

i asked a verizon store, and the tech line. but they both fail at life and didn't know.

does anyone know how to add a word into the itap dictionary on the phone? and how to make it so it doesnt guess/predict yesterday when i just want yes?

there is no way to make your itap do that, i had that phone and i hated it i just replaced it with my old phone, the razor is the most garbage phone so dont really expect too much technology out of the phone lol

From what i understand you are right, there is no way to add words, but if you do use words a lot then it will predict those first instead of the other ones.

for example, i text San Fransisco a lot and after the third time all i have to do is type away, and it fills in the entire rest of the word. But the first few times it didnt do that. but it DOES add commonly used words in there, so if you type "dude" a lot and it wasnt in the iTap before, it will add it.

All you have to do is switch from iTAP mode to TAP and enter the word you would like to type in. If you have "Learn Words" in your text setup set to on, then you should be OK. Once you have entered this word, you should be able to spell this word out using iTAP mode.

Let me know if this helps,

Chris

If you just type the word one letter at a time pressing the center button after each letter you can spell whatever you want and it will remember it for the next time.
It's stupid calling a phone crap just because you cant figure it out!
