Looks like your shift key is getting stuck too. Have you tried setting up your phone using the settings from the AT&T FAQ or searching the AT&T Phone & Device Support page? Try that out, let us know if there is anything that is unclear.
And please, go easy on the capitalized letters - we're happy to help, but please go tread softly with our eyes.
Respectfully,
Jacob M.
It looks like the Phone & Device Support page is blocked by our forum administrator - copy and paste the following link - but kill the space in the word "support" at the end of the link (can't seem to make the post display right):

MMS (picture messages) need the data service to sent the pic. basically its a text message with an attachment,. what you are seeing is normal.
be advised if you are ATT (cingular) and are sending or recieving MMS and do not have a mesaging plan you will be billed .25/message for MMS and .15 for text. if you have a messaging plan the plan covers both text and MMS

you cant download, what u need to do is follow step by step instructions listed above, start reading from beggining and go exactly where it tells you. then at website you follow directions by putting in the information given to you at the website into the phone. very simple just follow directions.

If you're looking to download your text messages to your computer, I believe that you may do so with Motorola Phone Tools. Its not free, but the pricing is nominal.

MOTOROLA V8
I need help!
I got a t-mobile phone and unlocked it.My sim card is for AT&T. The phone is a motorola v8 to be exact.
I CAN text message with it fine, but I cannot recieve pictures or even send pictures. I don't know what to do. I've tried setting up the network, etc., etc. I'm so frustrated.
I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with this problem.

Luvley,
The Motorola V8 is not supported by AT&T; you will not find any settings specific to this phone.
However, most Motorola phones accept the same settings. I suggest looking at the settings for the Motorola RAZR V3 or the Motorola V8 and using those in your phone. If that doesn't work, tell us about it and we can go from there.
It sounds like you don't have your picture messaging properly set up (MMS). Those setting are available at AT&T's device support page.
