ok so here's my story i need help lol

i have a blackberry pearl that i have had since about may 07' i downloaded Mobile IM from media net. the download was fine and Mobile IM was working fine a few weeks later the phone started giving me a error when trying to access the app. keeps saying Uncaught exception: 0>=0?? not sure what it means .. anyways since then i got a new pearl bcuz i beat that one through the floor lol and again it gives me the same error message when trying to launch the app... i've tried uninstalling the app and re-downloading that didnt help i also got ahold of Data support who told me"it's not supported by att so we dont have any other troubleshooting steps" which obviously it is supported by att since it's an att app lol i didnt wanna argue with the rep so i just let it go.. any idea?? thanks

sounds like corrupted software.delete the app. reboot the device. do a hard reset (with the BB powered on remove the battery wait 2 min replace and power on) re dload the application. failing that have you device checked for virri
